periodically when I am watching the boys, they will go upstairs to play in their rooms while I remain downstairs. The dog always stations herself at the top of the stairs, so she can view both them and me and do her self appointed guard job. Now she has added a new twist..if one of the kids calls me and I don't immediately respond by physically climbing the stairs at their beck and call, she barks....
